Living Strong Video Companion Tool

This course explores the Living Strong: Indigenous Fathers Walk the Red Road video created by the IDHC and Dr. Amy Wright at the University of Toronto. The Living Strong video features Indigenous men and Elders sharing their knowledge and experiences of living well. Participants will have an opportunity to view the Living Strong video, and learn how to use it as a tool to engage men in meaningful conversations about health and wellness. Anyone can benefit from this course, including frontline health workers, those working in the mainstream healthcare system, or those who would like an Indigenous perspective on living well. By the end of this course, you will have the necessary skills to utilize the Living Strong video resource as the basis of a workshop, activity, or conversation, to support Indigenous men in building relationships and connecting around health and wellness topics.
